Former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson expressed his pride at captaining England despite being subjected to boos.
The 33-year-old captained the Three Lions at Wembley in Harry Kane's absence as they beat Australia thanks to a solitary goal from Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins.

Despite the jeers, Henderson posted a defiant message detailing the "honour" of representing his country as he led England out for the first time since 2021 against Andorra.
