Everton’s proposed new owners 777 Partners have written to supporters ahead of the club’s game with Bournemouth.
Co-founder Josh Wander, who attended last week’s defeat against Luton Town, said of his first Goodison Park experience: “Despite the outcome, the experience of being in the stadium and the unwavering support of the Goodison crowd reinforced our commitment to this great club.”
His note, published on the Everton website, described the opportunity to acquire the club from majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri as a “profound” opportunity. He also sought to counter questions around the suitability of 777 as owners of Everton as “misleading and concerning.”
