Kenny Shiels has returned to management with PIL side Moyola Park
New Moyola Park boss Kenny Shiels has described not being involved in a frontline football role for the last nine months as like ‘losing his right arm’ and claimed he ought to have been ‘treated better’ by the Irish FA in relation to being axed as the Northern Ireland women’s team manager.
Shiels created history by guiding the Northern Ireland women to last year’s Euro Finals — the first time the female national side reached a major tournament — but to his disappointment departed in January with Tanya Oxtoby replacing him in September.
