KFC has launched its first ever lunchtime deal across all UK restaurants.
The fast food giant is now offering its own meal deal, to rival the likes of Tesco, Sainsbury's and Boots. From today (Monday), hungry workers can get their hands on a KFC main, either a crispy Kentucky Mayo Twister Wrap or a hot and juicy Fillet Burger, with MAX crisps or a chewy milk chocolate chip cookie and a drink of their choice for £5.49.
KFC said it launched the deal after new research revealed 75% of commuters buy lunch during the working week, but one in three feel judged by their lunch choices.

Of those who buy lunch out at least once a week, nearly two-fifths (37%) buy a meal deal most of the time, and a similar proportion (39%) buy one occasionally, KFC said. A spokesperson added: "When it comes to meal deal options, 32% are looking for more hot food options and 29% want tastier food, so it was only right that KFC entered the lunch game!"
People can get their hands on the new KFC lunchtime offer each weekday until 3pm in restaurants, at the drive thru, and via click and collect.
