Kylian Mbappe reached yet another personal milestone despite Paris Saint-Germain's shock 3-2 defeat to Nice.
The France superstar has been reintegrated into the first-team following a summer row — and cannot stop scoring.
After missing the opening match of the season, Mbappe now has seven goals in four Ligue 1 games.
The 24-year-old struck twice at the Parc des Prince on Friday night but the French champions fell to a shock defeat.
Nevertheless, Mbappe's heroics saw him match a record set by football royalty Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Mbappe has now registered a goal contribution in 15 consecutive league matches.
He is only the third player in history to achieve that feat after Ronaldo and Messi, who many believe are the greatest footballers of all-time.
Mbappe has already established himself as the heir-apparent to that crown with an astonishing early career.
However, the Frenchman was forced to train away from the PSG first-team for much of the summer after refusing to sign a new contract and angering colleagues with comments about the club.
Mbappe could join Real Madrid in January with PSG desperate to avoid a free transfer when his current deal expires at the end of the season.
