Liverpool moved a step closer to reaching the Europa League knockout phase as they cruised past Toulouse 5-1 at Anfield to cement top spot in Group E.
Ryan Gravenberch was the star of the show at Anfield as Liverpool won their third straight game in the competition to create a five-point gap at the top of Group E. He scored Liverpool's fourth goal with 25 minutes to go after Darwin Nunez's comical miss.
Diogo Jota opened the scoring nine minutes in after a superb individual run but Toulouse fired back five minutes later through Thijs Dallinga. Wataru Endo's first Liverpool goal put them back on track before Nunez struck their third to leave Toulouse with little chance of a comeback.
Toulouse were handed a golden chance to score just minutes after the break when Kelleher tossed away possession in his box and Gabriel Suazo somehow could not beat Alexander-Arnold on the goal-line, shooting straight at the defender.
Liverpool made it four on 65 minutes after Nunez sprung through on goal, rounded the goalkeeper and somehow struck the post despite being under no pressure. Luckily for him, Gravenberch was there to tidy up and finish for 4-1.
Mo Salah completed the five-star performance as the Egyptian came off the bench late on to score with a right-footed shot off the crossbar and seal a positive three points for Liverpool, which sees them pretty much certain to top the group.
Liverpool, who play Toulouse in France next in the Europa League on November 9, would confirm their progression to the next round with another victory.
