Liverpool could be without 10 players through injury for Man City showdown
Liverpool could have as many as 10 first-team players unavailable when they face Manchester City today.
City travel to Anfield looking to return to the top of the Premier League table. Pep Guardiola's team are currently one point behind Liverpool going into today's fixture, having not held top spot since November.
Midweek saw City secure a spot in the Champions League quarter-finals with a 3-1 (6-2 on aggregate) victory over FC Copenhagen. That win came just days after the triumph over Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium in the Manchester derby.
Guardiola will likely be forced to be without Jack Grealish for today's game through injury. Grealish has missed City's last two matches with a groin injury and is not expected to recover in time to feature against Liverpool.

Jeremy Doku will face a late fitness test as he aims to recover from an issue that saw him sidelined for the win over Copenhagen in midweek. Matheus Nunes suffered a finger injury on Wednesday but is still expected to be involved against Liverpool.
Over at Anfield, Jurgen Klopp is dealing with a significant injury crisis. Mohamed Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai and Darwin Nunez have all only recently returned from their respective spells on the sidelines. There are several others, though, who have already been ruled out. Liverpool will be without Alisson Becker, Curtis Jones, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota, Thiago Alcantara, Ryan Gravenberch, Joel Matip, Stefan Bajcetic and Ben Doak for the clash against City.
