Calum Scanlon has seen his progress at Liverpool rewarded with a new contract after making his first-team breakthrough under Jurgen Klopp this season.
The 19-year-old has put pen to paper on an extended deal having impressed since arriving from Birmingham City in February 2021.
Scanlon, who signed his first professional contract at Liverpool in March 2022, has risen through the ranks at the Academy to become a regular for the under-21 side and made his senior bow when coming off the bench for the final 24 minutes of the 5-1 Europa League group stage win at home to Toulouse in October.

The teenager, a left-back who has occasionally operated further upfield at Academy level, has trained regularly with the first team this season and also featured for almost half-an-hour during the Europa League group finale at Union Saint-Gilloise in December. He made the bench for the Premier League games at home to Everton and Brentford earlier in the campaign.
Scanlon, an England U19 international, also featured in the EFL Trophy for the Liverpool U21s and scored in the 3-0 win at Morecambe in September - the Reds first-ever victory in the competition.
