If Jurgen Klopp was getting sick of the question of just how he intends to replace Mohamed Salah, then the Liverpool manager found his antidote at Bournemouth.
In the first Premier League game without their 18-goal top scorer since he was dispatched to the Africa Cup of Nations for Egypt - where he has promptly picked up a muscle injury - the Reds made light of Salah's absence as they extended their lead at the top of the table to five points.
The Egyptian King may remain just that but his supporting cast are more than background artists to the Salah Show at Anfield. Two strikes from a rejuvenated Diogo Jota, either side of a couple of deft finishes from Darwin Nunez, disguised Klopp's inability to field not only his sharpest marksman in Salah but also a slew of other first-team stars too.
