Brentford manager Thomas Frank was reportedly under consideration by Liverpool to be the club's next manager.
The Reds are continuing to be linked with several potential candidates to be Jurgen Klopp's replacement this summer. Klopp announced in January that he would be stepping down from his role as Liverpool manager at the end of the season.
