Jurgen Klopp is preparing for one of Liverpool's biggest games of the season - the Merseyside derby against Sean Dyche's Everton.
The Reds will welcome the Toffees from the other side of Stanley Park, with plenty at stake. Liverpool are looking to get back to winning ways after failing to beat Brighton and Tottenham, with Everton hoping to build on their 3-0 home win against Bournemouth.
The two rivals are experiencing very different campaigns. Liverpool are looking like trophy candidates again after signing the likes of Dominik Szoboszlai and Alex Mac Allister, while relegation candidates Everton will just be happy to stay in the Premier League. With that in mind, here are the latest headlines from Merseyside...
Liverpool are keen on signing Bayern Munich attacking midfielder Jamal Musiala. The Germany international, 20, still has three years left on his contract but isn't expected to agree an extension in the near future, with Klopp keeping tabs on him.
Musiala scored 16 goals and provided 16 assists in all competitions for Bayern last season. The former England youth star spent time in the academies of Southampton and Chelsea as a teenager, and he hasn't ruled out a return to the Premier League.
Liverpool could be without six players for Saturday's game. Curtis Jones (suspended), Caoimhin Kelleher (knee) and Thiago Alcantara (groin) will all definitely miss the game, while Stefan Bajcetic (calf), Cody Gakpo (knee), Andy Robertson (shoulder) are doubts.
Robertson suffered his injury during Scotland's 2-0 Euro 2024 qualifying defeat to Spain on Thursday. It's hoped he won't require surgery. Scotland boss Steve Clarke said: "Obviously he’s hurt his shoulder. We’ll have a look, (he’ll) obviously go back to his club."
