Liverpool saw their Premier League title hopes effectively ended in miserable fashion with rare defeat against neighbours Everton.
The Reds conceded in each half as they were beaten 2-0 at Goodison to remain three points leaders Arsenal and only a point ahead of Manchester City, who now have two games in hand.

LIVE: Everton 2-0 Liverpool - full-time reaction from Klopp
Alisson Becker 7
Good save from Calvert-Lewin from close range and a little unfortunate to concede opener. Stopped McNeil effort second half and couldn’t do much about second.
Trent Alexander-Arnold 5
A few too many ambitious passes before the break but at least looked to get Liverpool going. Second half more of same but fell asleep for second goal. Subbed.
Ibrahima Konate 3
Nightmare first half for the Frenchman, who was bullied by Calvert-Lewin and got in the way to set up Everton opener. Instantly gave ball away at start of second half. Subbed.
Virgil van Dijk 6
Some good defensive headers and clearances as Everton won a succession of soft free-kicks first half. Spent a lot of second half pushing forward. Booked.
Andy Robertson 6
Willing runner down the left in both directions and one of Liverpool’s most energetic performers. Low effort kept out by Pickford before break and became attacking threat second half. Subbed.
Alexis Mac Allister 5
Playing as the number six, caught out occasionally defensively and grew frustrated at his inability to pick a pass but couldn’t be faulted for effort. Booked.
Dominik Szoboszlai 3
One forceful run into the box aside, the midfielder suffered a shocker of a first half and didn’t improve much after that.
