Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold in career twist as Ryan Reynolds and Anthony Joshua investment confirmed
Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold has joined boxer Anthony Joshua and golfer Rory McIlroy in investing in a Formula One team.
Alexander-Arnold is one of a number of famous sports stars, including ex-Manchester United player Juan Mata, and NFL stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, the latter the current partner of pop star Taylor Swift, who have joined the Otro Capital investment group that acquired a stake in the Alpine Racing F1 team earlier this year.
At the time of the Otro investment in Alpine in June for a sum of around €200m, Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney also came on board, with his investment in the team following on from the well-publicised ownership they have of Wrexham, which has achieved a global following through the ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ Disney series.

Otro Capital is a firm closely associated with RedBird Capital Partners, AC Milan owners and the 11% stakeholders in Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group, after being co-founded by a number of former RedBird
