A transfer to Liverpool for Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala is unlikely, according to reports in Germany.
The talented German international has been mooted with a move to the Reds next summer, as Mohamed Salah's future remains unclear following interest from Saudi Arabia.
However, news from Bavaria suggests that there are no intentions for Musiala to leave Munich and the only realistic options would be Real Madrid or Manchester City in a few years time.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have been credited with interest in City midfielder Kalvin Phillips. The England international has struggled to cement a starting berth in Pep Guardiola's side following his move from Leeds United.
Bayern are reportedly among the teams interested in Phillips but are said to face competition from the Reds.
