Owen Hargreaves has suggested that Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has a similar playstyle to that of former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
Gravenberch made the move to Merseyside from Bayern Munich in the summer and has since begun to impress with his displays as of late for Jurgen Klopp's side. Having notched twice from midfield in consecutive European outings against both Union Saint-Gilloise and Toulouse, his driving runs from midfield have been likened to that of the former United man.
After failing to find his feet with former side Bayern Munich, the 21-year-old was just one of a plethora of new signings made by Klopp this summer, following the exit of long-term stars Fabinho and Jordan Henderson to the Saudi Pro League.

Hargreaves has insisted his performances as of late will have given the midfielder plenty of confidence moving forward, but couldn't resist comparing the Liverpool star with Juventus and France playmaker Pogba.
“He has played amazing (in the Europa League) and because he has played well there, then he gets the opportunity to play in the Premier League,” Hargreaves said on The Kelly & Wrighty Show.
''He reminds me, Liverpool fans won’t like this, but he is [Paul] Pogba-esque. He can do a lot of good stuff. He can play in a lot of positions. He has a great size. Great athleticism.
“But I think he is one of those players you will need to specialise in a position, but so far, I love watching him. I am amazed he didn’t play more for Bayern because I think he is going to be a good addition to their midfield.”
