Liverpool transfer news - Joel Matip injury latest, Alisson Becker status, Man City charged
Liverpool are bracing themselves for an extended period out for defender Joel Matip.
The Cameroon centre-back was forced off during Sunday's enthralling 4-3 win over Fulham at Anfield, and replaced by Ibrahima Konate.
Jurgen Klopp revealed that the Reds are set to be without the 32-year-old as they await scans on the injury.
Meanwhile, reports in Spain suggest that Liverpool remain interested in OGC Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram. The youngster was linked with a move to Anfield in the summer but nothing came to fruition for the France Under-21 international.
