PSG manager Luis Enrique has said that PSG will have 'a batter team' with Kylian Mbappe next season.
Mbappe's time at the French champions is finally set to come to an end at the end of the season, with the forward making it clear he doesn't intend on signing a new contract upon his current deal's expiry.
The Frenchman seems set to join Real Madrid, with Mail Sport reporting that the 25-year-old, has agreed to join Los Blancos for an £85.6million signing-on fee - though he will take an £8.5m pay cut.
But that's not too much of an issue for Enrique, who took over the club in July following the dismissal of Christophe Galtier.
The Spaniard seems to be looking forward to next season, suggesting his squad will have a better balance when Mbappe leaves seven years after joining.
'I know that if everything goes well, next season, we will have a better team from all perspectives,' Enrique said. 'Offensively, defensively, tactically. I have no doubt about it.'
It's been a love-hate relationship between Mbappe and PSG ever since he joined from Monaco as an 18-year-old.
His move commanded a £130.5million fee, and it has looked on a number of occasions that he would leave the side before the summer of 2024.
He signed a new contract at the end of the 2021-22 season, but it seemed a matter of time before he would depart with the forward regularly growing frustrated about goings-on at the club.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, have reportedly agreed to sign Mbappe's brother from PSG in a move to charm their incoming superstar.
It has emerged that Mbappe and his family requested for the Spanish giants to sign his younger brother, Ethan, 17, to sweeten the deal.
