Manchester City will face Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals, as they learned their route to the final on Friday.
City booked their place in a seventh-successive quarter-final draw with a comprehensive 6-2 aggregate win over FC Copenhagen in the last-16. With the round of 16 finishing this week, the draw took place on Friday to pair up the last eight, as well as mapping out the semi-final draw.
In perhaps the most difficult tie available, City were paired with Real Madrid - and could then face Arsenal or Bayern Munich in the semi-final.

This is the third season in a row where City have faced Real Madrid, having bounced back from a heart-breaking semi-final exit in 2021/22 to produce one of their best ever performances in Europe last season at the Etihad to blow Real away in the first half of the second leg. Kevin De Bruyne's goal had earned City a fighting draw at the Bernabeu, before Bernardo Silva led the Blues into the final with a virtuoso display at the Etihad. The quarter-final ties will take place a week apart in April. The first leg will take place on either April 9 or 10, with the return leg on April 16/17.
Before the first leg, City take on Crystal Palace on Saturday April 6 at 12.30pm, with a visit of Luton sandwiched between the two legs. A tricky trip to Tottenham follows the second leg on the weekend of April 20 - although that will be replaced by an FA Cup
