Arsenal and Man City fans furious as UEFA make Champions League decision after quarter-final draw

Football supporters have been left upset after UEFA made the call for Arsenal and Manchester City's Champions League quarter-finals to be played on the SAME NIGHT, which means fans have to pick which match to watch.

Arsenal face Bayern Munich, with the first leg being played at their home ground, the Emirates Stadium, in the quarter-finals. At the same time, Manchester City will be playing against Real Madrid, and it's the third year in a row they're meeting.

The draw, which took place on Friday, means that if Arsenal and Man City win, they could play each other in the semi-finals. The other two matches are Atletico Madrid against Borussia Dortmund and PSG versus Barcelona.

UEFA said on Friday evening that the two halves of the draw would be played on different days. So, Arsenal and Man City will have their first matches on Tuesday, April 9, and the second ones on Wednesday, April 17.

They all start at 8pm UK time, reports the Mirror. The other quarter-final games will be on April 10 and April 16. But lots of fans are not happy about this.

Taking to social media, one fan wrote: «Arsenal vs Bayern and Real Madrid vs Man City on the same night! What a ridiculous decision from UEFA. Spanish police obviously objected to Real and Atletico playing the same night, understandably, but UEFA should have reversed the Atletico tie like they did to Inter last year.»
