Manchester United crashed to a dismal 2-0 defeat at West Ham as goals from Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus piled renewed pressure on under-fire boss Erik ten Hag on Saturday.
Ten Hag's side were blown away by West Ham's late strikes at the London Stadium, condemning them to an eighth Premier League loss already this season.
"Just not good enough really. I think we have to win games and that's it. We keep losing games and points and we’re making it hard with ourselves, especially with the second half - it was not good enough," Luke Shaw told reporters.
"In the first half we controlled the game and I think we had chances again. If we score the first goal, maybe the result is different but we don’t, so we suffered in that second half, so it was not good enough," he continued.
The English left-back went on to add: "It’s tough to think what is going on. I think maybe we are not creating enough, but on the other hand when we do we’re not clinical. I think maybe it could be a lack of confidence at the moment, but sometimes that’s normal in football, it happens."
