English giants Manchester United are now reportedly ready to cut their losses on player who cost them a massive R2.1 billion.
At a reported fee of £86 million (about R2.1 billion), Antony became the second-most expensive signing in the club's history, behind Paul Pogba, when he made the move to Old Trafford from Ajax Amsterdam in 2022.

Now, however, the Brazilian is facing a battle to save his United future, with The Sun reporting that the Red Devils are now prepared to listen to cut-price offers for the winger many consider to not have lived up to expectations at the Theatre of Dreams.
With Sir Jim Ratcliffe recently completing a 27.7% purchase of the Manchester side, it is said the British billionaire's arrival could play a significant role in deciding whether or not Antony will stay at the club.
The 24-year-old has had issues both on the field of play and off it since joining United.
In September last year, the Premier League giants placed the winger on what was labelled as a leave of absence after allegations of abuse were made against him.
After making a return to action a few months later, however, his struggles continued.
In 20 EPL appearances this season, Antony has failed to register a goal or an assist, with his only goal contributions this season coming in the form of a strike and an assist during a 4-2 victory over EFL League Two side Newport County in the FA Cup.
The Brazil international was also named on the bench for his side's 2-1 loss to Fulham on Saturday, with 19-year-old academy product Omari Forson being selected ahead of him.
Antony did make a substitute appearance late in that game, but was unable to make a significant difference.
