Manchester United target Benjamin Pavard gets more than 1000 replies to Raphael Varane comment and they’re all the same
Benjamin Pavard sent Instagram into overdrive on Monday night as he commented on Raphael Varane's Instagram post.
Varane scored the winning goal in Manchester United's 1-0 Premier League victory over Wolves on Monday night.
The France centre-back took to Instagram after the game and posted some pictures of him celebrating, along with the caption 'come onnnn'.
United transfer target Pavard was one of the many people to comment under the post.
He put two fire emojis and the fact he did that sent the replies wild.
There were thousands of replies to his comments and they were all saying the same thing.
They were all urging the Bayern Munich defender to sign for the club.
talkSPORT understands that Pavard is on the Red Devils' shortlist as a potential replacement for Harry Maguire.
Maguire could leave Old Trafford this summer with West Ham keen on signing the centre-back.
The Hammers have agreed a £30million fee, but the move has seemingly stalled.
That is believed to be over a reported pay-off should Maguire leave the club.
The Red Devils are said to have offered him £6m, but the England centre-back wants more.
Manager Erik ten Hag delivered a message to him before their first Premier League match of the season — prove you can get back in the team or go.
Ten Hag said: «For Harry, that is just how I described it. He has to fight for his place.
»He has the ability to be a top-class centre-back and he is the best for England so why shouldn’t he be the best for us? But he has to prove it.
“When he is not confident enough to fight then he has to go.
«Then he has to make a decision, but I’m happy with him.”
