Whilst Bayern Munich look to conclude a move for Paris Saint-Germain’s Nordi Mukiele (26) this month, a summer move for Olympique de Marseille’s Jonathan Clauss (31) is being considered by the Bavarian club, according to Saber Desfarges.
PSG are open to letting Mukiele leave the Parc des Princes this January, and should they find a replacement for the Frenchman, the deal is likely to be concluded. However, another French back is also being targeted, albeit with a view to a move in the summer transfer window.
Clauss and Kingsley Coman play together at international level, and in recent international breaks, the duo have evidenced a good understanding. Bayern Munich are interested in reconstructing that partnership at club level, according to Desfarges.
However, a move this January is unlikely. Bayern Munich are more interested in making a move in the summer, when just one year will remain on Clauss’ contract with Les Phocéens.
