Mikel Arteta has a number of Arsenal injury concerns ahead of this weekend's Premier League clash with Brighton. The Gunners have been plagued by absentees throughout the early months of the 2023/24 season with Gabriel Martinelli as the latest doubt.
Both he and Bukayo Saka were absent from training at London Colney on Monday prior to the flight out to Eindhoven. Saka missed the session because of a knock to his foot meanwhile Martinelli was ill and that was enough to see him left out of the squad.
Emile Smith Rowe returned from his knee injury in the week and Arteta will be hoping he can make an impact over the Christmas period. Takehiro Tomiyasu, Jurrien Timber, Fabio Vieira and Thomas Partey remain out injured with it unlikely any will be seen before the end of the year.
