Chelsea appear to be preparing the exits of eight more players this summer following an influx of outsourced teenage talent. Over the last year or so, the Blues have been in the market for the world's most exciting young stars.
The west Londoners signed Omari Hutchinson, Cesare Casadei, Zak Sturge, Carney Chukwuemeka and Gabriel Slonina last year, before securing the signatures of Mykhailo Mudryk, Andrey Santos and Malo Gusto in January. This summer, Chelsea have continued their spending spree, wrapping up deals for Dujuan Richards, Diego Moreira, Angelo Gabriel and Ishe Samuels-Smith.
While the new faces at Cobham training ground are expected to grow into top players, their arrivals seem to have rolled out the red carpet for those already at the club. According the Evening Standard, the Blues have made eight youngsters available for loan this summer.
It's believed that Chelsea are hoping Dylan Williams, Tino Anjorin, Harvey Vale, Bashir Humphreys, Alfie Gilchrist, Lucas Bergstrom, Jamie Cumming, Mason Burstow can further their development with a loan spell. The Evening Standard add that Leicester City are keen to take Cesare Casadei on loan and are in 'advanced talks' to sign Silko Thomas.
Meanwhile, Ben Elliott and Bryan Fiabema could leave permanently, with the latter said to be 'on the verge' of joining Real Sociedad. The report states that Tudor Mendel-Idowu will also depart Chelsea after he deemed the club's contract offer 'too low' and became a free agent.
