Liverpool will wait until the last minute before deciding on whether Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Dominik Szoboszlai will be available for the League Cup final against Chelsea.
But Curtis Jones will miss out on Sunday's Wembley date having joined Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Diogo Jota for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Salah and Nunez were both absent from Wednesday's 4-1 home Premier League win over Luton Town with muscle complaints while Szoboszlai hasn't featured for three weeks after aggravating a hamstring problem.

All three will be given every chance of proving their fitness before a final decision is made on their inclusion on Sunday. But Jones remains on Liverpool's lengthy injury list after the extent of the ankle issue suffered at Brentford last Saturday was revealed.
"Dom, Darwin, and Mo, we have to really see," said Lijnders on Friday morning. "We have two more days. Today's session and tomorrow's session. In the last minute we will check. If they can be there it will be great, to be honest.
"Curtis has high ankle strain. He will be (back) in and around the international break."
Lijnders has also shed light on the severity of the hamstring injury Alisson suffered in training last Friday, with the Reds now expected to be without both the goalkeeper and Alexander-Arnold for the crunch Premier League visit of Manchester City in a fortnight, along with the resumption of the Europa League and the Goodison derby against Everton.
