Ray Parlour says he 'couldn't care less' about what fellow talkSPORT host Andy Goldstein said about the Arsenal 'Invincible' season.
The Gunners' 2003/04 campaign, where they went unbeaten over all 38 Premier League games, is a feat that is still yet to be matched.
However, talkSPORT Drive's Goldstein took issue with the fact that they drew 12 games during that season, exposing what he claims is a myth about the 'Invincibles'.
The host said: «I just think the title of it, 'Invincible', makes you sound just incredible, like a superhero.
»But the problem I've got with that is that on the back of Manchester United beating you in the FA Cup, Middlesbrough beating you in the League Cup and Chelsea beating you in the Champions League.
«In that 'Invincible' season, you drew twice with Portsmouth, you drew with Charlton, you drew with Fulham, you drew with Birmingham, you drew with Bolton, three League One teams and a Championship side, you drew 12 games in that 'Invincible' season.
»Just over 31 per cent of your games you drew, I don't think it's the greatest season that all Arsenal fans believe it to be. Here's the problem I've got with it, that could be matched that feat, by a team that finishes with 38 points."
However Parlour, who starred in that iconic squad, is refusing to play into his colleague's claims as he told Alan Brazil on talkSPORT Breakfast: «It's obviously easy to do isn't it Al, going unbeaten for the season? When was the last team who done it? 1800s I think it was.»
He added: «We were up against it and it was all going the wrong way for Arsenal but the thing we had in our team was we never gave up and we had a really good bench that could change the game as well.
