A football supporter has had his holidays scrapped by a sheriff after he admitted having cocaine to supply to a large number of his team's fans on match day.
Furious Sheriff Gregor Murray put Jody Hutchison on a tag after hearing he had cocaine for nearly 20 supporters with Class A drugs as part of "a nice day out."
Dundee Sheriff Court was told that Hutchison had two upcoming holidays booked but would have to cancel and lose his money as a result of the tagging order.
Roofer Hutchison, 42, Dundee, admitted having cocaine worth more than £2,300 with intent to supply in City Road on 7 December last year.
He was fined £700 and placed on a 7pm to 7am curfew for six months.
The court was told Hutchison had 29 individual wraps to take to Lochee United's match.
Sheriff Gregor Murray said: "You fully understand the difficulty I have. What I've got to bring home to you is how stupid you have been.
"You were involved in the purchase and the onward supply of cocaine to a large number of people. You don't seem the slightest bit bothered about supplying a lot of cocaine to your friends.
"You heard what I thought of what you regarded as the possibility of a nice day out. Society doesn't regard it that way.
"Nineteen other people taking vast amounts of cocaine to a football match doesn't bear thinking about."
Solicitor Ross Donnelly, defending, told the court: "He is not involved in any commercial or any street supply.
