Omari Forson is giving Manchester United a January transfer window decision to make

There aren't many players within Manchester United's ranks that are in a better vein of form than Omari Forson right now.

The London-born attacker, who joined United's academy back in 2019, plundered his fifth and sixth goals of the season in the Reds' 3-0 UEFA Youth League triumph over Galatasaray at Leigh Sports Village on Tuesday afternoon. His second half brace, which featured a penalty, was enough to help the Under-19s record their first victory in the competition this season.

Scoring either side of an effort from Ethan Williams, Forson, who was a regular fixture in Erik ten Hag's plans during pre-season, scored for the fifth game running. He is in red-hot scoring form.

The 19-year-old has scored in each of his last three appearances for the Under-21s in the Premier League 2, netted a consolation goal for the Under-21s in their 8-1 defeat to Bolton Wanderers in the EFL Trophy last week and scored twice against Galatasaray. He is currently impossible to ignore.

Furthermore, it means he has now scored six goals in six appearances for United at academy level this season. The only game he has failed to score in was against Leeds United's Under-21s in a 2-1 home defeat in August.

Amid his current run of form in front of goal, it is only natural that more and more attention is going to be focused on the youngster, who featured in six of United's seven first-team friendlies during the summer. The only friendly that he played no part in was the 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid in Houston.
