RMC Sport report tonight that Paris Saint-Germain are no longer certain of making a move for Dušan Vlahović, with the Ligue 1 champions having doubts about the Serbian striker’s fitness. Specifically, PSG are concerned about a chronic sports hernia that saw the forward miss a dozen games for Juventus this past year.
The French side are still looking to bring in a centre-forward, with Harry Kane their prime target. Now, though, another name from Serie A has emerged as a potential option – according to RMC, the Parisians are keeping an eye on Atalanta striker Rasmus Højlund.
The 20-year-old Danish international, who scored nine goals in his first season with La Dea this past year, has been linked with a move to Manchester United of late. A Copenhagen youth academy graduate who has also turned out for Sturm Graz, Højlund has reportedly been valued by the Serie A club at around €60m.
