Paul Merson believesArsenal's William Saliba and Gabriel are the Premier League's best centre-backs.
The duo have played a key role in the Gunners' strong performances in defence this season with Mikel Arteta's team conceding the fewest goals in the league. Arsenal also have the best goal difference which may be crucial in a tight title race with Manchester City and Manchester City.

And club legend Merson has heaped praise on both Saliba and Gabriel for their performances this season. He points out that their consistent playing time as a partnership has played a key role in the Gunners' title charge.
