Chelsea supporters are not happy after former Manchester United star Paul Scholes said Phil Foden is a 'much better footballer' than Frank Lampard.

This season, the young England star has scored 18 goals and made 10 assists in 40 matches. Now he's one of the top choices to win the PFA Player of the Year award. Frank Lampard won this award back in 2005.
Foden is also trying to get his sixth Premier League title before he turns 24. He's already won the Champions League, two FA Cups, four League Cups, and the Club World Cup.
Frank Lampard, who is now 45, doesn't have a bad CV himself. He won three league titles, the Champions League, Europa League, four FA Cups, and two League Cups.
But Foden still has to do a lot to reach Lampard's amazing record. Lampard scored 211 goals and had 145 assists in 648 games for Chelsea. Lampard also played for England 106 times, scoring 29 goals and adding 12 assists.
So far, Foden has scored 78 goals and made 51 assists in 257 games for Man City. He also scored four goals and made eight assists in 31 games for England.

Despite the difference in Foden's current stats, Manchester United legend Paul Scholes, who was often likened to Lampard himself during his playing days, reckons that the Manchester City star is a more well-rounded player than his former England colleague ever was.
