Luis Enrique will be without Kylian Mbappé in his starting eleven as he looks to rest the forward before the vital start to the Champions League knockout stages on Valentine’s Day. Mbappé suffered a bruising tackle in the Coupe de France victory over Stade Brestois and has been monitored since then. He’ll travel with the group but the hope is that the team can succeed without him.
Circumstances will once again allow Paris Saint-Germain to rely upon Randal Kolo Muani. The striker had a rare start last week against RC Strasbourg Alsace after Bradley Barcola’s suspension and will look to benefit again from Mbappé’s condition.
Elsewhere Barcola can now return to the team after his suspension has finished and the winger will look to carry on a season where he has proven to be an exciting balancing force within Les Parisiens’ forward line.
