Manchester United fans are convinced they have identified the two players former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has suggested 'didn't want to play' for the club.
Solskjaer, speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, brought to you by Sky Bet, opened up on his time as manager of United, including the final few games that saw his time in charge come to an end.
The Norwegian was in charge for a somewhat sticky period for the club, which seemingly had a difficult dressing room to lead, including Cristiano Ronaldo, who returned before slamming the Red Devils in a tell-all interview.
Solskjaer's last game in charge was a 4-1 defeat to Watford in the Premier League in November 2021, with United 2-0 down at half time in a result that left them eighth in the league table.
And some of the former forward's comments have left supporters sure two current players didn't want to play for the club during the game having been taken off at half time.
Speaking about his last game in charge, Solskjaer said: 'I knew the day before, absolutely 100 per cent against Watford, that was it. The team talk at half time was about whoever wants to play, can play, get your hand up if you don't want to play.
'Made a few changes, couple of the lads actually in tears, they had a go, and after the game I knew.'
Looking back at the game, two substitutions were made at half time, which were Marcus Rashford and Scott McTominay making way for Donny van de Beek and Anthony Martial.
And Red Devils fans on social media have put two and two together, suggesting the two academy graduates didn't want to play in the second half of the game.
