Bellingham admits Henderson is his England role model
Jude Bellingham again proved key to his national team as the Real Madrid midfielder scored a last-gasp winner to prevent England from suffering back-to-back defeats in the final international break before the start of Euro 2024 in Germany.
But who has been his role model in his national team? The 20-year-old admitted in an interview that Jordan Henderson, who currently plays for Ajax, has played an important role in his international career.
"When I speak to Hendo, who I'm really close with, he tells me how lucky I am to be in this squad with such a good environment, whereas it was a bit different when he is playing at the start," he told 'Sky Sports'.
"I try and listen to him a lot because of the role model that he is to me. And he has properly helped me coming into this squad and helped me manage that expectation and responsibility," he concluded.
