Betfair have rounded up the final figure of the Rachael Blackmore Serial Winners Fund to £250,000 as the charity initiative ended at Aintree on Saturday.
Back in November, Betfair and Blackmore launched the fund at Haydock Park for the Betfair Chase with an initial £100,000 donation. The bookmaker then pledged to donate an additional £5,000 every time Blackmore rode a winner, from that point until Grand National Day.
The Irish jockey has raised £210,00 in total across the 140 days. Included in that total were two winners at Cheltenham, where Betfair doubled their donation from £5,000 to £10,000.

Proceeds will be evenly split between the Injured Jockeys Fund and Irish Injured Jockeys. The charity initiative was launched in conjunction with Betfair's 'Serial Winner' documentary series, which focused on Blackmore.
“The Serial Winners Fund was an incredible initiative run by Betfair throughout the season in support of the Injured Jockeys Fund in Ireland and UK, it’s one that I am very proud to have been a part of,” Blackmore said.
“This really is a substantial donation, generously topped up by Betfair, and will support the vital work they carry out helping jockeys in all areas of their lives.”
Charlotte Booth, Betfair chief commercial officer, said: “The Serial Winners Fund has been a fantastic journey for all of us; Betfair, the IJF, Irish injured jockeys and Rachael. Its been a real team effort from the start, and we’ve all been cheering Rachael on.
“Our team visited both Oaksey House in Lambourn and the RACE facility in Ireland and witnessed firsthand the work both charities do.
