Erik ten Hag welcomed Mason Mount back from injury in the 1-1 draw with Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday.
The 25-year-old has suffered with a calf injury throughout this season and missed 16 games as a result. He came on against Burnley for Scott McTominay, who was forced off in stoppage-time.
Although Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw and Anthony Martial had trained at Carrington in the build-up, the game proved to come too soon for those three players. Marcus Rashford was also absent, missing his second successive game as he remains on the treatment table.
