The national media have had their say on Nottingham Forest, who have received a four-point deduction on Monday for breaching the Premier League’s profitability and sustainability rules (PSRs). Nuno Espírito Santo's side have now dropped into the relegation zone, with one point separating them from Luton Town.
Everton were docked 10 points in November for breaching the PSRs during the period ending Season 2021/22, plunging them into the bottom three too. After submitting an appeal, the Toffees announced in February that their punishment would be reduced from 10 points to six points with immediate effect.
Sean Dyche's side are now four-points and two places above Forest in the race for top flight survival. Nuno will be hoping for a similar outcome, though their case has divided opinion – while some believe that they've drawn a short straw, others are adamant that the punishment was warranted.

"It can’t be a conspiracy if you’re one of 20 parties who sign those rules off every year. This is in fact the opposite of a conspiracy.
