Al Ahli's preparations are ramping up as Liverpool icon Roberto Firmino opened his account for the club and is set to be joined by Manchester City star Riyad Mahrez.
Firmino scored twice as Al Ahli romped to an 18-0 win over Austrian lower league side UPS Stuhlfelden. The 31-year-old started and notched his first goal for the club inside five minutes, before doubling his tally just nine minutes later.
The Royals would go in at the break leading 10-0 and 45 minutes was enough for the former Reds attacker who was replaced by Marcos Amaral as they made wholesale changes.

It has been a busy summer in Jeddah. As well as the arrival of Firmino, Ah Ahli have already welcomed Edouard Mendy from Chelsea with former Leeds United defender Ezgjan Alioski returning from his loan.
According to reports, they are close to welcoming a third summer arrival from the Premier League in Mahrez. The Algerian withdrew from Man City's pre-season tour after a £30m fee was agreed.
It has been claimed that Mahrez will travel to the region to complete a move to the King Abdullah Sports City stadium, he will reportedly earn £300,000-a-week.
Firmino looks set to be joined by some of his former Liverpool teammates. An agreement was reached between Liverpool and Al Ettifaq for Jordan Henderson this week, the Reds captain is now said to be mulling over the move which would see him reunite with former teammate
