Everton booked their place in the third round of the Carabao Cup after coming from behind to beat Doncaster Rovers on Wednesday night.
Sean Dyche’s side were made to work hard for their 2-1 victory and were second-best during a woeful first-half showing. The hosts deservedly opened the scoring just before the break when Joe Ironside headed home Tommy Rowe's cross.
However, new boy Beto came off the bench to draw Everton level before Arnaut Danjuma struck an 88th-minute winner. The Netherlands international linked up with Neal Maupay before smashing an effort into the bottom corner of the net.
Everton will now face Aston Villa in round three, and below are some moments you may have missed from the Eco-Power Stadium on Wednesday night.

Everton were woeful during the opening 45 minutes at the Eco-Power Stadium. To say Dyche’s side were second-best would be an understatement.

And Dyche was soon left shaking his head in anger when Mykolenko attempted a cross-field pass that went straight out of play on the far side. It was also a moment that summed up the full-back’s night.
