Sean Dyche has admitted Everton will be "sitting tight" in the upcoming January transfer window - and remained coy on the future of Arnaut Danjuma.
The Blues boss addressed questions on the depth of his squad, with injury issues to the likes of Seamus Coleman, Ashley Young and Abdoulaye Doucoure. For the trip to Turf Moor to face Burnley, there were opportunities on the bench for under-21 prospects Elijah Campbell, Mackenzie Hunt and Jenson Metcalfe.
Financial issues for Dyche have hampered his ability to spend in the transfer market. The club made loan moves for Jack Harrison and Danjuma in the summer plus outlays for Portuguese strike duo Beto and Youssef Chermiti.

The prospective takeover of 777 Partners continues to loom over the Blues, with the American private investment company still awaiting approval from the Premier League.
In previous seasons, Everton have been in the position of sell-to-buy with the sales of Anthony Gordon and Alex Iwobi providing funds in the market. Dyche admitted when fit, he has a 'good and balanced squad' but the festive period has impacted the fitness of the group.
"We don't know. We'll be sitting tight, squad-wise when everyone's fit we've got a good, balanced squad," said the Everton manager.
"The depth of it is in question because of injuries and game schedule, it's a thick set of games over December, the turnaround has affected us. Regarding the finance, we'll have to see."
