Manchester City left-back Sergio Gomez is a loan target for Galatasaray.
The Turkish giants are keen to terminate the loan of former City full-back Angelino prematurely by sending him back to RB Leipzig next month. Galatasaray paid Leipzig a loan fee of around £1million and the transfer would automatically become permanent for £5m if Angelino makes 20 appearances in all competitions. Gomez has started just three matches for City in all competitions this season and has not featured in the Premier League since September.
He joined Pep Guardiola's treble-winners for £11million from Anderlecht in August 2022 but has struggled to force his way into City's starting XI. Guardiola has often utilised a back-three this season while Josko Gvardiol and Nathan Ake have also featured at left-back ahead of the 23-year-old Spaniard.
Meanwhile, City are set to rebuff any further loan approaches for Norwegian sensation Oscar Bobb this winter following his eye-catching breakthrough at the Etihad Stadium.
Lazio, Porto, Benfica and Ajax were all keen on signing the 20-year-old attacker on loan in the summer but the 20-year-old has quickly forced his way into the first-team picture at City.
One likely January exit is Kalvin Phillips, who has failed to win over Guardiola
