Sergio Ramos 'turned down' an offer from Manchester United before re-signing for Sevilla this summer.
That's according to reports from The Sun after the 37-year-old completed a sensational return to his former club. Ramos became a free agent when leaving PSG this summer and several top clubs were mooted with interest in the iconic centre-back.
Capped a record 180 times by the Spain national team, Ramos has won the lot for club and country since he made his way with Sevilla and progressed through their academy system. However, as per the article mentioned, he was subject to "an approach" from United that could have seen him play in the Premier League.
The Sun claims Ramos was offered £73,000-per-week to sign a one-season deal at the club. Of course, the player enjoyed success alongside Raphael Varane and Casemiro at Real.
