Liverpool legends Sir Kenny Dalglish and Ian Rush reunited on stage to help the club's official former players association raise over £75,000 at this year's annual Forever Reds Christmas lunch.
The pair formed one of the Reds' most celebrated strike-partnerships, lifting two European Cups, five First Division titles, two FA Cups, and four League Cups during their 10 years at Anfield together.
With over 25 club legends attending the event at Anfield, Dalglish, who received the BBC Sports Personality of the Year lifetime achievement award earlier this week, and Rush were two of five, along with John Barnes, Phil Thompson, and Natasha Dowie, to appear on stage and take part in a Q&A as they entertained the sell-out crowd when reliving memories from their playing days together.

Guests enjoyed a three-course festive lunch, and had the opportunity to pose of pictures and obtain autographs from some of Liverpool's most celebrated former players.
The event also included both a raffle and live auction, with VIP tickets, signed football shirts and tickets to the LFC Foundation Legends match in March some of the highly sought-after items up for grabs. Lifelong Liverpool fan Alfie Boe closed the show with a number of Mersey songs, including the club’s famous anthem You’ll Never Walk Alone, with it later confirmed that the latest edition of the annual event had raised over £75,000.
