Stellenbosch FC’s unbeaten streak will face an acid test in Sekhukhune United in the DStv Premiership out at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The Maroons are second on the table, 14 points from the champions-elect Mamelodi Sundowns and hammered SuperSport United 4-0 in the last eight of the Nedbank Cup on Saturday.
Babina Noko have been on the up owing to the arrival of coach Lehlohonolo Seema and shoot up to fourth on the standings – four points adrift the Maroons.
Stellenbosch coach Steve Barker will have Thabo Moloisane, who was suspended against Matsatsantsa back for selection as a win can take them five points clear third-place Orlando Pirates.
The Maroons and Babina Noko played to a goalless draw in the other encounter earlier this season out in the winelands city.
Kick-off is at 19h30.
