Mikel Arteta will be looking to build on an impressive 2022/23 Premier League campaign and challenge for the title once again this coming season.
The Gunners ran Manchester City close in the title race, but ultimately came up short. The focus has been on financing moves in the transfer window to strengthen Arteta's youthful squad for another assault on the Premier League title.
And Arsenal have been busy early in the window, signing three new players in the form of Kai Havertz from Chelsea, Jurrien Timber from Ajax and Declan Rice in a British record £105million deal from West Ham United.
Arteta is not against adding more players to his squad, but the focus for technical director Edu will now be thinning out the squad a touch and offloading players that do not fit into Arteta's plans. Do that, and the Spaniard is likely to go back into the market for new signings once more.

Cedric Soares — Another with no future at the club. Disappointing loan spell with Fulham last season and Arsenal open to offers for him.
Rob Holding — Was the subject of a derisory bid from Besiktas. Likely to have interest from other clubs and could leave this summer.
Kieran Tierney — Does he stay or does he go? Was usurped by Oleksandr Zinchenko for the left-back berth and facce further competition from the versatile Jurrien Timber now, too.
