Everton boss Brian Sorensen said he is not concerned about his side's Women's Super League (WSL) form despite Sunday's 5-0 defeat to Manchester United.
The Blues lined up at Walton Hall Park hoping to build on last weekend's victory in the Merseyside derby. But it was the visitors who dominated the contest, with goals from Melvine Malard, Nikita Parris and Rachel Williams ensuring Marc Skinner's side came away with the three points.
In spite of the scoreline, Everton did provide stern opposition for the Reds in the first half and could have taken the lead through Nicoline Sorensen. Hanna Bennison and Katrine Veje also came close to finding the back of the net for the Blues but it wasn't to be for Sorensen's side, who have now lost three of their opening four WSL games.

"I think we were a bit hard done by with the result if I’m honest in terms of the performance," the Everton boss said. "The first half was good. We should be if not leading then at least level with them.
"Second half we started to drift apart from what we’re good at and it’s on me that (the defeat) becomes that big because we go man-to-man after 2-0 but then they make it 3-0 straight away.
"The subs we made were already more aggressive and offensive minded. It didn’t work out but I also think the goals we conceded were too easy
He added: "Overall we’re not happy that we lose that big that can’t happen. There’s not much to do but regroup and make it better next time."
