Thiago Motta's agent addresses Liverpool next manager rumours as Bologna stance emerges

The agent of Bologna manager Thiago Motta has refused to rule out the idea of his client potentially replacing Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool this summer.

Motta, best known as a midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain during his playing days, has enjoyed a successful move into management. His first role came as PSG's under-19s coach, before later taking on opportunities in Italy with Genoa and Spezia.

Now in his second season in charge of Bologna, Motta has implemented an exciting brand of football that has the club on course for their highest finish in Serie A since the 1966/67 season (3rd). Indeed, Bologna are currently two points behind third-placed Juventus and five clear of AS Roma in fifth.

Securing Champions League football would go a long way to enhancing the reputation of Motta, whose contract at the club is set to expire at the end of the season.

The 41-year-old has naturally been linked with jobs elsewhere as a result of the success he has brought, and Motta's agent, Alessandro Canovi, has admitted "interesting" offers could open up in the coming weeks.

Speaking to TMW Radio via Calcio Mercato, Canovi said: "The situation of the big names?
