Thiago Silva has revealed that he has made a decision over his future at Chelsea and that fans will learn of his next moves in the coming days.
It came after the 39-year-old defender was seen in tears after Mauricio Pochettino's side failed to book their place in the final of the FA Cup on Saturday, after suffering a 1-0 defeat in the semi-final at Wembley to Manchester City.
The Brazilian, who played the full 90 minutes of Saturday's match, is in the final few months of his contract at Chelsea and much speculation has revolved around whether their star centre back will leave the club this summer.
His wife, Belle, seemingly hinted at his exit yesterday, posting a picture of herself on social media at the match with the caption 'It's the last dance at Wembley...'
After the match, the Brazil international, who was still distraught by the defeat, was asked by reporters over whether he knew what his future will look like.
He told Hayters: 'You will know in the coming days. I don't want to say anything now with my head in a defeat, a bit of sadness.
'But sooner or later it's going to happen. The news will come out.'
He was subsequently pressed on whether he had made a final call on his future, replying: 'I already have made a decision in my head.
'I don't think it's cool that a lot of people talk about it. I'm sorry. Soon you will know.'
Earlier this year, the centre back admitted that his professional career was 'almost over'.
