Arsenal holding midfielder Thomas Partey has suffered a fresh injury blow ahead of his side's UEFA Champions League clash against Sevilla. The Ghana international has been plagued with various fitness issues in recent times but returned to action earlier this month following a groin problem.
However, he hasn't been included in the Gunners' matchday squad for their match away to La Liga side Sevilla on Tuesday evening. It remains to be seen exactly how long he will be out for.

Arsenal have confirmed that Partey will miss the clash against Sevilla due to a muscle injury. A club statement read: «Thomas Partey misses out on tonight's game with a muscle issue.»

Partey returned to action against Manchester City, coming off the bench late on to help his side win 1-0 against Pep Guardiola's men. However, he was an unused substitute against Chelsea last weekend — a match that ended 2-2 with Jorginho and Declan Rice starting ahead of the Ghana international
Potential timeframe
According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal hope Partey will be available after the October international break.
The 30-year-old is expected to be out for at least six weeks, meaning he will miss Premier League games against Everton, Tottenham Hotspur, Bournemouth and Manchester City as well as Champions League outings fixtures against PSV Eindhoven and Lens.
